Also known as the Sunset City, the town's history is closely related to that of Fort Huachuca. Located on State Route 90, 64 miles southeast of Tucson, at an elevation of 4,245 feet, Huachuca City was originally a stop on the now abandoned Southern Pacific Railroad between Tombstone and Patagonia. Huachuca City is contiguous with the City of Sierra Vista to the south; and the entire city is designated a State Enterprise Zone. Town Hall (520) 456-1354.
